How to practice Interdisciplinary or cross-domain learning
Periodically pursue learning that integrates two or more domains (e.g., science + art, technology + ethics, history + economics). Structure learning around synthesis tasks, such as writing an explanation, building a prototype, or teaching the concept to someone else. Aim for short “bursts” (4–8 weeks) rather than indefinite study blocks. This is best used as a complement to, not a replacement for, deep domain mastery.
