  • Most people eat too little: The vast majority of Americans don't even hit the low end of recommended thresholds. 
  • Age matters: Protein needs increase with age as muscles become more resistant to protein synthesis
  • Distribution counts: Your body can only use about 25-30g efficiently at once, so spreading intake throughout the day works better than one massive meal
