Before you start chatting with BeBe:

BeBe is an AI-powered assistant that can access certain information in your BetterBrain account, including health-related data, to help provide personalized insights and support. Please read carefully:

1. Nature of the AI Interaction

  • BeBe is an automated system, not a human provider.
  • BeBe’s responses are generated using AI technology based on the information you share and the data in your account.

2. Use and Processing of Your Information

  • BeBe may access and process information from your BetterBrain account, including Protected Health Information (PHI), if you choose to share or allow it.
  • Your data may be used to:
    • Provide personalized recommendations or insights;
    • Improve system accuracy and user experience; and
    • Ensure service quality and compliance with BetterBrain’s privacy and security policies.
  • BeBe does not use your PHI to train external AI models.

3. Privacy and Security Protections

  • All information BeBe processes is protected under HIPAA and BetterBrain’s Information Security and HIPAA Internal Privacy policies.
  • Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Only authorized personnel have access for legitimate business and compliance purposes.
  • You may request deletion or correction of stored chat data at any time by contacting legal@betterbrain.com.

Implementation Notes

  • Display this the first time a user launches BeBe or whenever the privacy terms materially change.
  • Log the timestamp, user ID, and version of the consent text accepted (HIPAA documentation requirement).
  • Users should have a clear “Reset BeBe memory” option within settings to delete prior conversation data.
