Tommy Wood, MD, PhD

Dr. Tommy Wood is a world-leading brain health researcher and author of The Stimulated Mind (in stores March 2026). He serves as Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Pediatrics at the University of Washington, where his laboratory focuses on brain health across the lifespan. Tommy earned degrees from Cambridge (Biochemistry), Oxford (Medicine), and Oslo (PhD in Physiology and Neuroscience). Beyond his academic work, Tommy has spent over a decade as a performance consultant for professional athletes, including Olympians, world champions, and Formula 1 drivers.
