ONE PROTEIN, MEASURED EARLY

What is the pTau-217 test?

THE MARKER

A blood protein tied to Alzheimer's biology

Phosphorylated tau 217 is measured from a standard blood draw. Elevated levels are associated with the biological changes of Alzheimer's disease.

THE TIMING

Years before symptoms appear

Research shows the marker can reflect these changes years ahead of symptoms, which is exactly the window where prevention has the most room to work.

THE HONEST PART

A result is not a diagnosis

It is one input you and your clinician use to understand risk and act early. That is why we only run it inside a full assessment, never alone.

How do I get a pTau-217 test?

STEP 01

Start your Blueprint

The comprehensive assessment: 54 biomarkers, a cognitive evaluation, and a session with a Brain Health Coach.

STEP 02

Add pTau-217 at checkout

One checkbox, $299. No second appointment and no separate order, it rides on the same blood draw.

STEP 03

One draw, one results session

An in-lab draw at a Quest location. Your coach then walks you through the result inside your full brain health picture.

WHY IT IS AN ADD-ON

One marker is a clue. Fifty-four are a picture.

A single marker is most useful in context. That is why pTau-217 only ships inside Blueprint: your 54 blood biomarkers, your cognitive evaluation, and an up to 90-minute session with a Brain Health Coach who walks you through every result.
